Kawasaki Ninja H2R
Everything about this motorcycle is related to speed and power. It is the first supercharged motorcycle made by Kawasaki. Specifications are incredible! This motorcycle has 998cc inline 4 DOHC engine, 300BHP (220KW), top speed is 400-420km/h (250-260mp/h, theoretical). Torque is 115 lb ft. The frame is made from steal (they cannot use alloy, because it will crack), the body is made from carbon fiber. Electronic systems that this motorbike will include: anti-lock braking system (ABS), engine breaking control, traction control and launch control. Rider control is controlled by wire. Without these systems, it would be impossible to drive this motorcycle. The turbo charger has two speeds, and it is specially designed so it generates less heat. Supercharged engines are known for overheating, but this problem was successfully solved.
Aerodynamics is specially designed to make cold air through the engine bay, to produce down force which is needed for better acceleration and stability at higher speed. Although, details about aerodynamics are still unknown, it is subjected that this motorcycle will have the best aerodynamics on the market.
There would be available two models. Kawasaki H2R is supercharged and it has 300BHP, and a price of $50.000. Other, similar model H2, has 200BHP and it is $25.000. This is serial production motorcycle, and its rival is BMW S1000RR. Kawasaki H2R has 50% power! Both motorcycles will be available soon on the market. They are race designed, which means they are designed for track and race. Kawasaki announced that this motorcycle are just beginning, and new models will be even better.
