Scooter VS Motorcycle
People who are not very familiar with motorcycles and scooters usually don’t know the difference between these two. What we can definitely say is that both of them will provide you a good ride, but there are some differences when it comes to the design and the engine size.
What is really important for you to know is that you do need some sort of training and to learn tactics in order to avoid any potential problem you may occur on the road.
If we are talking about riding, scooters are definitely much easier and you will not have too much problem with it, while on the other hand with motorcycles you need to learn to accelerate and at the same time to use a shifter pedal and a clutch lever.
It is much harder to drive at slow speeds when you are driving motorcycle, than a scooter.
When it comes to engines, scooter has smaller ones and they are definitely less powerful. Typical engine size is around 50cc and it goes up to 150cc, while on the other hand motorcycle engine is usually around 250cc.
Scooters simply cannot compete with motorcycles when it comes to speed and the acceleration, even though some of them do have 250cc engines.
You can often hear how scooters are safer than motorcycles, it is not something we deny, but if you want to drive at faster speeds, you will have more problems with scooter, than with motorcycles.
But if you want to drive at slower speeds, scooter is definitely a better option. Motorcycles have larger tires, that is why they can easily ride over potholes and can easily overcome any obstacle on the road.
